Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photographs.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and maintain accurate patient records.
- Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as directed by the dentist.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Current Radiologic Health Bureau (RHB) license or equivalent certification (RDA, CDA, or DA).
- CPR and BLS certification (American Heart Association) required.
- 1+ years of experience in a dental office setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and sterilization techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
