Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure strict infection control protocols are followed.
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) under the supervision of the dentist.
- Greet patients warmly, manage check-in/check-out processes, and ensure a positive patient experience.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment histories in our digital system.
- Order and manage dental supplies and materials.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent DANB certification preferred.
- Valid Washington State Dental Assistant license required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be current.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Attention to detail and proficiency with dental software.
