Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations and various treatment procedures.
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) and develop images accurately.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and update patient charts.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Manage front desk reception duties, including scheduling appointments and answering phones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Dental Assistant License (DA Licensure) required.
- Certification in Coronal Polishing or Expanded Functions is preferred.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
