Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments with chair-side support.
- Preparation: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure all materials are ready.
- Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays (Radiology license required).
- Administrative: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle insurance billing.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to OSHA and CDC safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant license in California.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred; new grads welcome with internship.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
- Interpersonal: Excellent communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including some Saturdays if needed.
