Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienists during examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical) using digital sensors.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and sterilization standards (OSHA compliance).
- Manage patient records and handle front desk duties as needed.
Qualifications
- DANB Certified or equivalent (RDA/RDH) is preferred.
- Current Washington State Dental Assistant License.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
- CPR/BLS Certification (must be current).
