Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Assist the lead dentist during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays and digital impressions.
- Explain dental procedures and oral health instructions to patients.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment charts.
- Manage appointment scheduling and assist with patient check-in processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- Current Colorado State Dental Assistant license.
- Previous experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
