Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chairside during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain a sterile environment in compliance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, and impressions as directed.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage patient records accurately in our EHR system and assist with scheduling and intake.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials.
- Ensure the treatment room is organized and welcoming for every patient.
Qualifications
- Current and active California RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to infection control and patient safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
