Responsibilities
- Prepare Exam Rooms: Ensure dental instruments and equipment are sterilized and ready for patient use.
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays and other diagnostic images as directed.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, explain procedures, and assist with post-operative instructions.
- Administrative Support: Manage patient records, update charts, and assist with scheduling appointments.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to all health and safety protocols and OSHA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience in dental assisting is necessary; we provide training.
- Skills: Basic computer proficiency and typing skills are preferred.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills and a positive, patient-facing attitude are essential.
- Availability: Ability to work full-time hours, including some evenings and Saturdays.
