Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, dental instruments, and materials for patient appointments.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) under the supervision of the dentist.
- Greet patients and ensure they feel comfortable and relaxed in our office.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior dental experience is necessary; we will train you!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with patient movement.
- Reliable transportation and valid ID.
- Willingness to obtain CPR and dental assisting certification (we support this).
