Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and MedSurg
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments and progress using EMR systems
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Adapt to varying healthcare environments while maintaining clinical excellence
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted Alaska RN license
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and specialty-specific certifications (e.g., TNCC, ENPC)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, unfamiliar clinical settings
