Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment and operatory areas
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently
- Provide chairside support and post-operative instructions
- Ensure infection control standards are consistently met
- Support office administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary
- Strong willingness to learn and complete training
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Basic computer proficiency
- CPR certification (will be provided if not already held)
- Valid Florida state dental X-ray license (training provided)
