Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Dentist and Hygienists during patient examinations and procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure infection control protocols are followed.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (training provided).
- Guide patients through the dental process, explaining procedures and answering questions to ease anxiety.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and handle insurance paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Perform basic chairside assisting tasks such as suctioning, rinsing, and handing instruments.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- No prior dental experience necessary; we will teach you the ropes!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliability and a positive, friendly attitude towards patients.
- CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory for application.
