Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist and hygienist during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and explain treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile treatment room environment.
- Provide post-operative instructions and care to patients.
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic clinical setting.
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
