Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms and prioritize care urgency using clinical judgment protocols
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists to ensure timely patient disposition
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) with detailed triage documentation
- Educate patients on home care instructions and follow-up requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient flow and resource allocation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for triage accuracy and patient satisfaction
- Respond effectively to high-volume emergency scenarios and mass-casualty incidents
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri with minimum 3 years emergency/urgent care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN or higher degree preferred
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with diverse populations
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in high-stress environments
- Experience with pediatric and geriatric patient populations
