Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during exams and treatments
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays using digital radiography
- Maintain sterilization protocols for instruments and equipment
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and restock as needed
- Document patient information and treatment plans in practice management software
- Provide post-procedure instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and billing when required
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in NJ
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a dental practice
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent communication skills and ability to calm anxious patients
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid NJ driver's license and reliable transportation
