Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
- Perform vital signs and medical history screenings for patients.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Licensure where required.
- Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
