Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implants and veneers
- Digital X-ray imaging and intraoral photography with advanced imaging systems
- Sterilization and OSHA compliance management for instrument processing
- Patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene protocols
- Dental inventory management and supply chain optimization
- Electronic health record (EHR) maintenance using Dentrix software
- Coordination of treatment plans with specialists and laboratories
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in a general/cosmetic practice
- CPR/BLS certification and radiation safety training
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- Exceptional chairside demeanor and patient communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced cosmetic dentistry environment
