Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Sterilize instruments and maintain operatory hygiene standards
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with dental team
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or registered in Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in dental assisting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification required
- Experience with digital imaging and practice management software
- Valid Wisconsin dental radiography license preferred
