Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatment
- Assist dentists with clinical tasks including instrument sterilization and tray setup
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and maintain accurate patient records
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials
- Perform infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment
- Provide post-operative instructions and schedule follow-up appointments
- Coordinate with front office staff to ensure seamless patient flow
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in dental radiography techniques
- Strong knowledge of sterilization protocols and OSHA standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to put patients at ease
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation for immediate start date
