Your Role
You will work closely with our experienced dentists to provide exceptional oral health care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection control protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays (panoramas, periapicals) as directed.
- Perform vital signs monitoring and update patient medical records accurately.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Manage front desk reception duties including scheduling, insurance verification, and patient check-ins.
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order necessary materials.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience.
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a dental office setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform fine motor tasks with precision.
- Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records (EHR).
