Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorative and cosmetic work
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage sterilization and infection control protocols
- Update patient records and maintain digital documentation
- Order dental supplies and inventory management
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification (DAEFB or DANB preferred)
- Pennsylvania dental radiology license
- 1+ years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent chairside manners and patient communication skills
- Proficient with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Valid CPR certification
