Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient monitoring
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling using practice management software
- Sterilize equipment and maintain clinical hygiene standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory levels
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate with insurance companies for billing procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Basic computer proficiency (training provided for specialized software)
