Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction control
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Perform sterilization and infection control procedures for instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and instruments for patient procedures
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments using digital systems
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior dental experience necessary – training provided
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Basic computer proficiency for patient record management
- Willingness to obtain CPR/BLS certification (training provided)
