Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: suctioning, instrument transfer, and patient comfort
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with digital imaging technology
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain inventory of dental supplies
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Assist with administrative tasks including scheduling and record management
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Washington State Dental Assistant certification (provided if not certified)
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands
- Pass background check and drug screening
