Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during patient examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe environment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) as directed by the dentist.
- Guide patients through oral hygiene instructions and post-care procedures.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and accurately process insurance paperwork.
- Perform front office duties including scheduling appointments and answering phone inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous dental experience is not required (Paid training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
- Basic computer literacy is a plus.
