Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, surgical, and cosmetic treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate infection control protocols and inventory management
- Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and insurance verification
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or RDA license required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography (X-rays) and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of dental instruments and equipment maintenance
- Excellent communication skills and patient demeanor
- CPR/BLS certification and current HIPAA compliance training
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Eaglesoft or DentalWorks software preferred
