Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and personal care
- Transport clients to appointments, errands, and social activities
- Monitor client well-being and report changes to care coordinator
- Administer prescribed medications under professional supervision
- Maintain accurate care documentation and client records
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we provide all necessary training!
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background check and health screenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and genuine desire to help others
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexible availability including weekends and evenings
