Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to elderly clients
- Assist with daily living activities including meal preparation and personal care
- Monitor client health status and report changes to care coordinators
- Transport clients to appointments and social activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments for clients
- Document care activities accurately and maintain client confidentiality
- Follow care plans and provide updates to family members
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida driver's license with clean record
- Compassionate nature and patience working with seniors
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Reliable transportation to client locations
- Willingness to complete state-mandated caregiver training
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Strong communication and time management skills
