Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Support patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to maintain their dignity and comfort.
- Vital Signs Monitoring: Accurately measure and record patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Feeding Assistance: Provide meal preparation and assistance to patients who require dietary support.
- Patient Mobility: Safely assist patients with walking and transferring to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and logs of daily care activities.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict hygiene protocols and sanitation standards to prevent the spread of infection.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status changes and needs to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- CNA Certification: Current Texas CNA license preferred, but we offer training for qualified candidates without experience.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Compassion: Genuine desire to help others and provide high-quality patient care.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Background Check: Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
