Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques
- Support nurses with medical equipment preparation and room maintenance
- Deliver compassionate emotional support to patients and families
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance standards
- Participate in shift handovers and team care conferences
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Valid CPR certification (provided if not current)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
