Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical equipment per protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and wound closure
- Monitor inventory and restock operating rooms with provided supplies
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Collaborate with RNs and anesthesia teams for patient readiness
- Document procedural details accurately in electronic records
- Participate in equipment sterilization and quality control
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- Minimum 2 years OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing and surgical equipment
- BLS certification current or obtainable within 30 days
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
