Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse)
- Assist with patient meals and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Support nursing staff with documentation and charting
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Report patient changes or concerns to registered nurses
- Participate in interdisciplinary care planning meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Florida CNA certification or willingness to obtain through our training program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (provided if not certified)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Compassionate attitude toward elderly and vulnerable populations
- Reliable transportation to work site
