Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning as needed
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document patient observations accurately and timely
- Support meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Maintain clean and safe patient environments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current Pennsylvania CNA certification (or enrollment in state-approved program)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate demeanor with strong patient focus
- Willingness to complete facility-specific training
