Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Accurately measure and record vital signs and patient observations
- Support patients with nutritional needs and meal assistance
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare teams to ensure patient comfort and safety
- Document patient care activities in electronic health records
- Assist with patient transport and positioning as needed
Qualifications
- Current Georgia CNA certification required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Compassionate approach to patient care
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper techniques
- No prior hospital experience necessary
