Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction control
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize equipment, and maintain inventory
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and assist with digital imaging
- Manage patient scheduling and communication via our practice management software
- Provide chairside support during exams, fillings, and restorative procedures
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain strict patient confidentiality
- Deliver exceptional patient education on oral hygiene and treatment plans
Qualifications
- No prior dental experience required – we provide paid hands-on training
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification in CPR/BLS (will be provided if not certified)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise protocols
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate patient demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn dental software
- Valid Minnesota state driver's license for occasional errands
