Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures and insurance verification.
- Prepare patients for examination by assisting with draping and positioning.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse).
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, including blood draws and specimen collection.
- Manage and update patient Electronic Health Records (EHR) efficiently.
- Assist the healthcare provider during examinations and procedures.
- Provide post-procedure instructions and answer patient questions regarding medications and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be willing to obtain Medical Assistant certification within 6 months of hire.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical software.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Candidates must have a valid ID and proof of authorization to work in the USA.
