Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic patient assessments
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Prepare patients and exam rooms efficiently
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Administer injections and collect specimens
- Handle inventory and supply management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate from accredited Medical Assistant program preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts (including weekends)
