Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Maintain infection control standards and safety protocols at all times
- Participate in shift handovers and report critical patient information
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (or eligible to obtain by start date)
- Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Clinical rotation experience in medical-surgical or acute care setting
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
