Responsibilities
- Assess patient health issues and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, reporting any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document all patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses, accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
