Responsibilities
- Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform vital sign measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
- Prepare patients for exams and ensure examination rooms are sanitized and stocked.
- Administer injections and medications under strict physician supervision.
- Perform basic laboratory duties, such as phlebotomy and urinalysis.
- Manage patient records and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and handle front desk inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Detail-oriented approach to medical documentation.
- Willingness to obtain medical assisting certification within 6 months of hire.
