Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned units while adhering to evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations with precision
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in EHR systems
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop personalized care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary care conferences
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN required)
- Current Ohio RN license (or compact license eligibility)
- BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Clinical rotation experience in acute care settings
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends/holidays
