Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and compassionate direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and protocols
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document in Electronic Health Records (EHR)
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, medications, and discharge planning
- Monitor and maintain patient safety, including fall prevention and infection control measures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and unit-based committees
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
- Valid Texas RN license (or eligibility to obtain)
- BLS certification (ACLS preferred but not required)
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional development
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- New graduates and nurses with ≤1 year of experience encouraged to apply
