Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units using evidence-based nursing practices
- Administer medications and treatments accurately per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge protocols
- Adhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety regulations
- Participate in shift handovers and unit quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or eligibility
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
