Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during complex dental procedures including implant placements and restorative work
- Manage patient flow and coordinate with dental hygienists for seamless appointment transitions
- Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Take accurate dental radiographs (X-rays) and intraoral photos
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal inventory management
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education materials
- Assist with digital charting and practice management software
Qualifications
- Current California RDA certification or DANB certification required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a fast-paced dental practice
- Expertise in digital radiography and imaging software (e.g., Dexis, Schick)
- Strong knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient populations
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with calm professionalism
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
