Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems
- Implement sterilization protocols per OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument inventory
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and preventive dentistry
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and appointment scheduling
- Maintain accurate dental charts and electronic health records
Qualifications
- Accredited dental assisting program certification required
- Current DANB or DC Dental Assistant license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general/specialty dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification and radiology safety training
- Exceptional chairside communication and patient rapport skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
