Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry and instrument transfer
- Manage patient flow and prepare treatment rooms with sterile instruments
- Capture and process digital dental radiographs with precision
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilization procedures
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Administer topical anesthetics and post-op instructions
- Maintain digital patient records using Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Current Oregon Dental Assistant Radiology certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control compliance
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
