Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorations, extractions, and endodontics
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with precision
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials efficiently
- Delieve patient education on oral hygiene and post-op care
- Maintain accurate digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft
- Coordinate seamless patient flow and appointment scheduling
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certification or equivalent experience
- Indiana Dental Assistant license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proven experience with digital radiography and dental software
- Exceptional chairside assisting skills for general dentistry
- Strong attention to safety protocols and OSHA compliance
- Excellent communication and patient rapport abilities
