Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA and CDC protocols
- Manage patient flow, including chairside assistance and post-op instructions
- Take accurate dental radiographs and impressions while maintaining patient comfort
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
- Maintain immaculate operatory sterilization and clinical areas
- Schedule appointments and coordinate with specialty departments
Qualifications
- Active RDA or DA license in California
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience in general/specialty practice
- CPR/BLS certification and X-ray proficiency
- Expertise in digital radiography (Dexis/Sirona) and practice management software
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Demonstrated commitment to infection control standards
- Associate's degree or dental assisting certificate preferred
