Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure comfort throughout treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative work
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Maintain sterile instruments and infection control protocols
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Coordinate scheduling and inventory management
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
Qualifications
- Active Ohio Dental Assistant certification or DANB certification
- X-ray license and CPR certification required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar practice management software
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and chairside manner
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work between 20-30 hours weekly
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
