Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry
- Take digital X-rays and accurate dental impressions
- Manage patient charts and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Administer anesthesia injections and monitor vital signs
- Coordinate patient flow and schedule efficiency
- Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification in Florida
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
